So yesterday I did something I haven't done in a long time. I walked into a store and bought a CD. It's not that I object to either of these things, it's just that there isn't anything I've wanted in a while. Anyway, my remarkably well-behaved toddler and I walked out with:
I'm late to the party, I know. Now I just need to find a time to listen to this rather explicit album when my daughter isn't around. Hey, someone looks sleepy! Nap time!
Oh, and thanks, Sirius, for always linking your stuff properly to Amazon, with the 24seven code and and everything, so I can quote your message and copy the code. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?

Thanks for the link LadyInque! That was a pleasant listening.
I'm not gonna help on this thread, my last non-OST CD was Bryan Adams's latest album BARE BONES in 2010 _________________ my SF saga (novels in french!): https://tinyurl.com/PerleDeRubis |

Picked up Van Halen's new studio album (their 1st new album in yearssssss) , not to mention the return of David Lee Roth!
And just in time, went to their concert last night, and aside from Roth ad libbing a few lines he forgot...it was a kick@$$ time!
If anybody cares for it, i can post some concert pics as i was lucky enough to score row 8 tix _________________ "Listen, Centauri. I'm not any of those guys, I'm a kid from a trailer park."

The last physical CD that I purchased was Bobby Long - The Backing Singer EP. That was... I think last December. He's among the new British folkies. I've been a fan for a few years now, glad to see him finally getting some press 'cause he is amazing.
Before that the last one was Patrick Stump (from Fall Out Boy) - Soul Punk.. a couple months before. Excellent & kinda retro sounding pop/R&B.
Much love for both. |

That kinda triggered my curiosity and listened to some nice tracks on Spotify. But i also stumbled onto the original motion picture soundtrack of "a love song for Bobby Long" as nothing to do with him of course but has equally nice singer-songwriter songs on it. _________________

Hey, ZGurl! Forgive my ignorance, but what's that top CD? There's no link or text, but the album art intrigues me.
I've been eyeing this for a while, and I finally bought it.
The price was good, and the music is good, though not all of it is that dark. Anyway, new stuff to listen to as October spookiness is upon us. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?

Oh wow I didn't even notice it had nothing on it! I apologize for it not being more clear. It's the debut album by Halestorm, simply called Halestorm. One of my favorite bands for those "i-just-feel-like-screaming" moments. _________________ Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow. - James Dean |
