Absloutely right, anya
I saw you making a quote from the movie when requesting a track from the soundtrack. I knew this very minute that this one would be too easy for you
Well done!! |

When it comes to Joe Wright, it has to be easy for me
3 words can define me: Ireland, Fantastic, Feminism
With my main job, I'm linked to 17 movies (last one coming out this year) and 1 TV serie.
Who I am and what's my job? _________________ my SF saga (novels in french!): https://tinyurl.com/PerleDeRubis |

Thx for the hint, anya. This leads me straight to director, writer and producer Neil Jordan.
Is this correct? |

In the movie "Thelma & Louise" (1991), when being on the lam, Louise asks her boyfriend on the phone to send her some money.
To which financial services and communications company in what city shall he wire the money? |

Ahaha, I saw this movie once and it was years ago. I forget that Louise asked for money.
The only financiel services I know is "Western Union" and Wikipedia proved me right.
On the other hand, I don't have any clue about the city (except that it is not in Texas) _________________ my SF saga (novels in french!): https://tinyurl.com/PerleDeRubis |

anya, did you really miss all the hints I gave you in the Q yesterday?
Anyway: Western Union is quite correct and I'm sure, with this information and a little help from google it should be no problem for you (or anyone) to find out the city as well... |

Yesterday? Clues? I didn't pay attention, I was busy, I didn't lurk much... All I remember is the Sam Mendes birthday (TNFC!!!!!!) and all the **FC!!! screams in the chatbox and my DW request for you...
Mmmmmh in movie-locations.com I found Thelma and Louise location: Meeting JD at the ‘mid-west’ motel: Vagabond Inn, South Figueroa Street, downtown Los Angeles
So, could it be L.A.?
This seems strange... they want to avoid Texas and they travel through California? *looks at a USA map because I really don't know where are each states... Well yes, this doesn't make sense to me*
FOUND IT! *gosh* I always search in Wikipedia EN because it's always better filled but for once it's not! The french one is better!
It's Oklahoma City.
So : Western Union in Oklahoma City, is that correct? *full of hope* |

Oh dear, you really had to do a lot of research to find the solution, I'm so sorry
But it's nice to see the way you took to find the correct answer
Of course it would have been much easier if you would have had the time to pay attention to the Q as I requested EVERY single track available with the word OKLAHOMA in it for you
But you managed to succeed completely on your own, so hooray to your research skill *applauds* Well done!! |

Don't worry! Au contraire, it's very good to have to search a bit, that's the real fun part of the game
I think I recall hearing a song from "Oklahoma!" that day, so it must have been you *my gosh, I created a mini-theme without knowing it!*
I'm not specially inspired now for another question, so if anyone has one: go ahead! |

No new question? Well, here comes mine! I tried to be a little original...
First word of the title of a movie released in 2009 starring Mark Ruffalo
First word of the title of a movie released in 1966 starring an incredible number of famous international actors
First word of the title of a movie released in 2011 about one of the most famous actress of the last century
Last word of the title of a movie starring Russel Crowe
With all those answers, you'll be able to recreate the title of the end credits song of a very famous movie.
So give me the title of each movies, then the title of the song and finally, the title of the movie! _________________ my SF saga (novels in french!): https://tinyurl.com/PerleDeRubis |

Nice one, anya – as always!!
Here is my guess:
1. Where the Wild Things Are
2. Is Paris Burning? - That was a tough one!! I’m not quite sure if this is the one you were looking for as the original title is French, I think: Paris brûle-t-il
3. My Week with Marilyn
4. A Beautiful Mind
Song: Where Is My Mind (by Pixies)
Movie: Fight Club (1999)
Correct? |
