Okay, I have no idea whether this is particularly easy or particularly difficult. You tell me
The movie in question is an adaptation of an American novel. The authoress was 15 years old when she started to write the book, and she was 18 (another source says 19) when the novel was published in 1967.
The characters in the book are based on actual people.
A school class was asked which director they would like most to direct the movie adaptation. They sent the winner of the voting a letter and a copy of the novel. The director was so touched that he decided to make the movie.
The film is noted for its cast of up-and-coming stars.
Who is the authoress? What's the title of the novel/movie? Who is the director of the movie? |

That must be: The Outsiders by Francis Ford Coppola.
I know that the movie Rumble Fish is made in the same time, so it could be that one too.
I don't know the book or author, but probably someone will look that up. _________________

OK I'll get you a new one, not so hard to find:
In 1987 Sean Penn was rejected for a leading role in a movie about a man who was jailed innocent.
This because his previous production failed even though there was a famous popstar starring in both movies. Due to that the titlesong became better received than the movie.
What was the original title of movie Sean Penn was rejected for.
And what was the final title/famous titlesong by which popstar? _________________

Quite right, Dutch. It's "The Outsiders" (1983) and the director is Francis Ford Coppola. For those interested: The authoress is S.E. Hinton. She also wrote the novel "Rumble Fish". Right again, Dutch: Coppola also directed this movie.
Well done, Dutch! |

Slammer, aka Who's That Girl? If so, it is Madonna who was the pop singer with the song being The Look of Love? ...I think _________________ The right song can turn an emperor into a laughing stock, can bring down dynasties. Well done Jady,
Titlesong Who's that girl became a mediocre hit for Madonna, who had a relation with Sean Penn before turning to Guy Ritchie as you all know.
You may provide the next one _________________

OK simple one as inbetweener:
If you are looking for Elvis Presley soundtracks you will end up with movies he starred in himself.
However there is one movie which is filled with Elvis-songs performed in the movie. Albeit not by The King himself.
What is de title of the movie I'm referring too.
And who played the lead character? _________________

The only thing coming to mind is... Honeymoon in Vegas? With Nicholas Cage as the main character. |

Absolutely right Mojo, It is set during an Elvis Look-a-like contest in Vegas.
Nicolas Cage indeed having the lead role.
Nice soundtrack btw, with all kind of genre-artists doing Elvis songs. _________________

I can hardly believe how long this game was neglected.
So here we go again:
In 1996 he was a young lawyer working for a magazine publisher (who exists in real life).
In 1998 he was reformed in prison and tried to prevent his brother from making the same mistakes he did.
In 2002 he played a businessman and politician, who in real life was Vice President of the United States.
In 2006 he was a magician.
Who is the actor? |
