Just got Nightmare Before Christmas and I got two Medal of Honor scores because I had heard them on the streaming here.
Sure there must have been others but these spring to mind right now. |

I got this because of "This is Gallifrey," which I heard and loved on SST. After getting the score, I got into the series.

Okay, that was weird. I was just reading LadyInque's post about "Doctor Who" when that score – that specific track, actually – pops up in the Now Playing window. LOL
One score I've bought because I heard it on SST and liked it was this:
I can't think of CDs at the mo, but there are also lots of movies which I hadn't seen but decided to watch after hearing the scores here: Up, HTTYD, and some others. Many more still on the "to watch" list when I get the time. |

Mellow, wow, blast from the past! Good to see you back. There's so many scores that I couldn't name them all!
One of my fondest SST memories was hearing Finding Neverland for the first time among the new playlist additions. Those of us in the chat shared an understanding that we all heard an amazing artist in Kaczmarek, and at the time, an undiscovered gem. I went and bought the score after that!
I've learned so much from the other members here who have turned me onto numerous scores from different parts of the world, and it's why I keep coming back. Most recently, I bought Czas Honoru, which I never would have heard without this site! |

Normally I had the personal restriction of buying score CD's only when I had seen the movie except those from the big 5. ( I could buy a Zimmer, Horner or Bernstein without restriction)
But SST certainly has broadened my horizon and without it I would have never heared of e.g. the great Polish composers:
