It says "Plant Golv" in Swedish, which I believe means plain or flat floor.
Do I need to bring a (tall) chair my self? |
I think this will do:

I just came back from the The Joystick 5.0 concert and quite the success it was at that. Most of us were sitting at fifth row giving us an up and close experience and a very good look at the soprano Sabina Zweiacker and each member of the orchestra.
The main conductor, Charles Hazlewood, did a very good job conducting? the orchestra; despite the trigger-happy-clappers in the back
The second half of the concert, and my primary reason for being there, was noticeable better than the first half - especially as the Skyrim score roared up through the concert hall. According to a few comments from after the show, more depth and volume from Sabina's voice was heard.
As an encore, which according to Orvar (presenter) was not seen before at Joystick, they played the Skyrim Theme track again! Unplanned you might call it.
- Of course, what Orvar hadn't taken into account was the seven dedicated members of SST's sitting on fifth row, making the entire audience doing standing ovations, on several occasions. All though, Dutchbat and SC really should take most of the credit for that one
It was a very delighted experience for me and really good to finally meet some of you and get some real faces on your usernames.
btw: I want that chair!

We talked to the mother of compser and guest conductor Jason Graves afterwards, she said that despite that the second concert (that we attend) was not sold out like on friday (or almost) the saterday one was much better, performance wise but also more reactions from the audience. They did not do the encore on friday and on saterday it was also not planned to do it. So we picked the best day for this concert

A second meeting with Jason and his parents occured at the airport. They told me that my business card and complaint that the MSO had not responded on my e-mail was passed on to Orvar, who besides moderator also produced the concerts. They guaranteed he would contact me for partnership on next year's event. _________________

This year (2014) Joystic 6.0 event will take place in Malmö (Sweden) on 9th and 10th of May.
10th of May is a Saturday and looks good as a time to maybe have a little get together - just like last year.
My swedish is bad so maybe I overlooked something but so far I haven't seen a concert programme yet, so I'm not creating a separate thread for this event. Just sending a little head-ups to see if we have any interest for that event this year. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

I will try to envoy a second request to the organisors to see if we can have the stand there. It had a perfect place to put it up there and many people interested.
I got no reply on my previous attempt though. _________________

Thanks to google translator I found out that Joystick 6.0 concert this year will consist of two acts.
First with music from video games released before year 1995 (as far as I understand there will be some kind of a poll for fans soon to help pick tracks for the first part of the concert).
Second part of the concert will include video games scores dated after 2010.
I hope more news will follow soon.
A link for those who read swedish: http://joystick.mso.se/2014/02/en-uppdatering-angaende-era-onskelatar-infor-joystick-6-0/ _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

3 reasons for me to go there, especially the ' secret of Mana' track.
I will try to track down Orvar's phone number to see if I can reach him that way.

Got my flight booked! See you soon friends!
BTW: Looks like it's gonna be pretty nice week. Day before leaving to Sweden I go to a concert of Ketil Bjornstad in Warsaw (this composer's name can be familiar to SSTers because of this album we've got here) ! _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Mol, thanks for your information about this event in Warsaw. I have no chance to go to Malmo but I have already bought a ticket for Bjornstad's concert |
