The work outing to LA brought me off course to the Amoeba store
Ended up with :
Khartoum/Mosquito squadron by Frank Cordell
The touch by Basil Poledouris
Napoleonby Richard Grégoire
Open range by Michael Kamen
Ghosts of Mississippi by Marc Shaiman
Dreamer by John Debney
Picture bride by Mark Adler
The Missouri breaks by John Williams
The field by Elmer Bernstein
The mists of Avalon by Lee Holdridge
Call of the wild by Lee Holdridge
Losing Isaiah by Mark Isham
Then the FoFM meeting got some Cd's in the goodie bag and the raffle:
Thirst by Brian May
Black mass autographed by Tom Holkenborg
Hitman Agent 47 by Marco Beltrami
The Flash by Blake Neely
Krull limited edition by James Horner
Justice League; Throne of Atlantis by Frederik Wiedmann
The interview/This is the end by Henry Jackman
The woman astronaut by Penka Kouneva
The two composers I had a meeting with came with presents:
Witches by Marc Timon Barcelo (for SST)
El Arbol sin sombra by Marc Timon Barcelo
Momentum autographed by Laurent Eyquem
Tokarev Autographed by Laurent Eyquem
Now the hardest part will be getting those back to Europe |

As the flesh was weak when I passed Amoeba again I added 3 more and 1 I got via iTunes which is on my TOP10 list of Best Scores 2015.
Monsignor by John Williams.
Expensive collector's item, but so worth it.
Libertador by Gustavo Dudamel
epic, hard to find score by mainly classical conductor and composer.
Journey 2;the mysterious island Promo CD by Andrew Lockington.
Hungry hearts by Nicola Piovani, also containing 2 other scores from 2015 movies: Banana en L' Amore non perdona

Somehow during the violence of the Amoeba shipment a nice little soundtrack I picked up on iTunes was forgotten:
Pourquoi j'ai pas mangé mon père by Laurent Perez del Mar
A nice score for an animated movie on cannibals.
Leaned a lot against "the Croods" from Silvestri.

My husband surprised me for Christmas with these:
The Librarians is pretty much my favorite show right now. It's not groundbreaking, but it does old tropes with a lot of fun, and I love the characters. |

2) First heard here on SST, loved it & have wanted for a while
3) First heard here & liked, then I watched the movie... movie not as good but I liked the music so got this. _________________ "A day without music is a mistake." – John Williams |
