Do you mean green as for you being a rookie, or green as for me being a mod? ;-) |

I'm all for a short track day and for Jeric getting to hear what he wants on his birthday. Short track day would rock if we could pick them too...but I haven't any idea if that is possible. Anyway, we'd finally get to hear all those snippets of songs that aren't reqested as often b/c people want to get more bang for the buck. Additionally, I think it would be interesting to know what Jeric is into, and figure all that out on his birthday. He totally deserves a day like that.... of course, the next thing ya know... we will HAVE to have a day for Cocles too

Well, last night, when Cocles was the only admin online, the entire soundtrack to the Neverending Story somehow showed up in the Queue... |

Awesome, a few nights ago (maybe a week ago) he did the entire Bond score for On Her Majesty's Secret Service. It's awesome when he does that! _________________ "Get it?...Got it!...GOOD!" -- The Court Jester |

Another vote for a short-track day. It would be kinda nice to hear a whole variety of pieces, instead of the occasional hours during my workday where there's a whole slew of 10-12 minute tracks that pile up. |

Sounds like a good idea. I don't have problems with 4 or 5 minute songs either, but when a single request takes up as much time as 8-10 others, it starts being a little selfish. |

This could become a bit of circuitous argument.
I don't think it's selfish to choose some of the longer tracks on sst - just from the top of my head I can think of some great music that hit between 8 and 10 minutes - Battle of Yavin from Star Wars, Valhalla Victory from 13th Warrior.
Remeber that once these tracks are chosen they can't be played again for 5 days. Like everything else I think it's a case of a bit of give and take. |
