I'm wondering, is cheesecake really cake? It looks so "pie-ish" to me |

I like both, but there's nothing better than a good strawberry-rhubarb pie a la mode. So it's pie for me. |

Cheesecake for me...definitely! I make my own and generally make them for special occasions (birthdays, parties, etc) or, whenever I feel like it! My fav - Double Chocolate Cheesecake. The cake has 2 layers, the bottom layer has dark chocolate melted into it and the top layer has white chocolate melted into it. All topped off with a nice dark chocolate glaze! _________________ "Get it?...Got it!...GOOD!" -- The Court Jester |

I am not a big sweet fan myself, but cake all the way! Especially Vachon for all you Canadians out there.
I don't like pie unless it is blueberry. I can eat anything blueberry |

The best piece of pie I've had is 'White Russian' Pie made with vodka and kahlua - OMG!
I'll take a piece of Robert's cheesecake to-go, please.

One of my fav's is something called heaven and hell cake. You take an angel food cake and cut the top section off (about a 1/2 inch thick or so). Then you scoop a trough out of the bottom section about 3 inches deep and 2 inches wide. You fill it with devils food pudding. You then place the top back on and frost it to cover up the surgery. When you slice the cake you get this really cool looking cross section of white fluffy cake filled with dark gooey pudding. The contrast in flavors an textures is intense. |

I am really a pie girl (especially cheesecake!) but I have to admit one of my favorite desserts is a devil's food cake with a homeade fudge and cognac/raspberry filling with homeade whipped cream on top. _________________ I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. I'm gonna have to put in one for pie. Apple pie is one of my favorites, especially heated with ice cream. Cream pies are also pretty tasty.....mmmmmmm..... _________________ "Don't you think that idea is a little half-baked?
