I'm a big disney addict fan, but I really dont think we need a day of sing-along-able songs here. If you like the songs, chances are you own the movies. So why not just pop it in the VCR/DVD player? I did that just last night! I also think there are so many people here that don't like soundtracks with vocals, and we would not like to leave those wonderful fans of SST in the dust. In short, I don't think you're gonna get what you want, the democracy works, but against you this time. The people have spoken.
BTW, for future reference, its not good form to try and "catch/out-do/challenge/diss" the admins around here. We're all on their side, and I think you should learn to be too. Don't bite the hand that feeds you, dawg dog. |

I missed the part were I dissed or challenged the admins: I just put up an idea for them to consider, nothing more.
I agree its not a good idea: as someone pointed out, there are entire live365 stations dedicated to it. |

You did nothing wrong. That is why the 'idea' forum has been created. I would have preferred a normal yes/no poll though... |

I have to say I liked some of the disney songs, part of that reason is that some of the orchestral music that accompanies the songs is as good as tracks without vocals. I loved the music that accompanied the song "Beauty and the Beast" for example.
But as for a whole day.... don't think I could stand it! Sorry! |

Disney songs can be fun, and I like them alot, but not all day! I think it could drive alot of us mad! I vote 'no' for a disney song day. |

I vote no as well. Some Disney songs are good, but I'd almost certainly go insane if I had to listen to even four or five hours of them. |

Kind of disappointed there is no "oui" but I would have gone with "no" anyway so... _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

I wouldn't mind if it were a short queue lineup - maybe 10-20 songs, but more than that and they start to grind on you. _________________ "When you look into the eyes of a wolf you see into your soul. Hope you like what you see..." Aldo Leopold |
