I've seen this movie; it's great, even if it's a low-budget production. If there's a cool script with characters you care about, you don't necesseraly need 100,000,000 $ to make a good film. |

No way would I ever see this, I would never enter a large body of water again. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

I caught Open Water last weekend. While there were some genuine tense moments, the characters were a little too bland for me to get involved. Basically two yuppies thrown into the sea, so much unrealized potential, IMO. Disappointing...I really wanted to like it. _________________ http://www.keith-moore.net

Hmm...well I haven't seen it yet, but I don't know. It didn't really look all that great to me. _________________ "I love you so much I want to rip you to pieces and pile corpses at your feet." Muraki to Tsuzuki, Yami No Matsuei

the hand-held camera work during the first 30 minutes of 'Open Water' was pitiful...
my candidate for second worse film ever made.... _________________ Den Nacht gebar,
