I was just curious if you guys could help me figure out what the mystery clip is on cinemusic. If I was to win, I would probably donate the winning to SST.

The clip can be heard here
http://www.cinemusic.net/audio/mysteryclips1/cinemusic_june_04.mp3

As always I have ideas, but not 100% sure. Ive been right on the last two.

For some reason I want to say Star Trek: First Contact, by Jerry Goldsmith. But I'm not sure....

Whatever it is, it sounds very Jerry Goldsmithish.

I agree with GrooveMerchant...it sure sounds like a piece by Jerry Goldsmith...not Zimmer (Backdraft).

I am certain this is music from the movie "First Knight" by Jerry Goldsmith. It's a piece from the track "Promise me".

When i first heard it, I was thinking Air Force One (Goldsmith) or something similar. Now a days scores seem to sound a lot alike.

Backdraft did cross my mind, but not for long because I own that cd.

I dont own First Knight, but I have compilations cds with first knight tracks on it.

Thanks for your input.

So have you found the correct answer yet (or maybe it's printed in the magazine (if it came from one))?
I'm very curious as to which score this is, though I'd place my money with Jerry Goldsmith's "First Knight".

Yeah, that's "First Knight." It's track 5, though "A New Life."
