I have this ST and love every minute of it. My only complaint is that it is too short, and that it doesn't name the fine players on it. Great jazz in a large combo format (rhythm section with vibes, and 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, French horns, alto & tenor saxes). Everyone gets an extended solo somewhere.
I also very much enjoy the album Son of Gunn! featuring Shelly Manne and his men playing more of Mancini's music for the TV series in Manne's typical small combo format. Sadly, this recording is not available on CD (I do have the original vinyl, though).
