I did find out he did the score for the opening titles in ABC's Desparate Housewives. |
I saw that too. When I think about the music, I am not that surprised that he did it actually. Sounds very Elfmany... (I love Desperate Housewives by the way)
I don't know about the singing but I saw that Danny Elfman and Tim Burton are working again together for an animation called "The Corpse Bride" coming out in 2005 with Johnny Depp. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0121164/ _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

I've read the old Russian story its based on, and it looks like its going to be a short film unless they really flesh it out a bit more, which could upset a lot of the fans of the story... But that said, its is an interesting story... |

I thought I heard from somewhere that Elfman is going to do some singing again? Is there any truth to that or am I imagining? |
I heard this too (although I can't for the life of me remember where). I heard that he would be singing the Oompa Loompa song.
If I find a source for this, I'll post it. |

Go to elfman.filmmusic.com , they usually have the latest news about Elfman related stuff. They even had a bunch of character photos from Wonka up, but Warner Brothers forced them remove them because of copyright issues. All I can say is that Tim Burton's vision seems to be very, very different from the 1971 version, but awesome nonetheless. |

that's where I went, no news of him singing in anything including Charlie _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

You have to do a little research in the forum over there... Danny is singing the Oompa Loompa song. This has even been posted at Richard Elfman's site (Danny's brother) some time ago, but the site is currently under re-construction. |

This movie is bad for me. My wife loves Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Johnny Depp. She will be drooling the whole movie. _________________ Pixie "Actually Tree, I wasn't referring to you as a dingus, but seems like you might just qualify as one now!" |

I'll probably be drooling, too, but not because of Johnny Depp. |

Chud.com had some more pics but I think they took them off. The new Oompa Loompas look crappy. _________________ Stargate SG1
