That's part of the joke about degrees. The first two would be B.S. and M.S. (more the same, the first one you can figure out). |
I know about the B.S. (I have one), what about MS? (maybe it's just to early for me to think) |
Isn't it supposed to be B.Sc., not B.S., and M.Sc.? (Just being technical... ) _________________ "Get it?...Got it!...GOOD!" -- The Court Jester |

not in the US. It's always been B.S. and M.S. otherwise wouldn't you do the same w/ the arts - B.Ar. and M.Ar.?? seems silly _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

All versions are correct, as confirmed by dictionary. For Bachelor of Science (B.S., B.Sc., S.B., and Sc.B.). For Bachelor of Arts (B.A. and A.B.). For Master of Science (M.S., M.Sc., S.M., and Sc.M.). For Master of Arts (M.A. and A.M.). Doctor of Philosophy is only Ph.D. _________________ It's like something out of that twilighty show about that zone. - Homer Simpson

Having one myself, I still think BS is entirely appropriate _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

So, Diamondback, in reference to your joke, if we know what BS stands for, what does BA stand for? _________________ "Get it?...Got it!...GOOD!" -- The Court Jester |

I decided to completely delete it from SST and put it on again. Seems to have worked. _________________ "Get it?...Got it!...GOOD!" -- The Court Jester |
