Well, looks like Dreamworks has their newest computer animated movie set to enter theaters at the end of May. It's called Madagascar. IMO, I think it might or might not be good. I love African animals, so that's a plus right there. Here's a link to the trailer and info...

So what are your thoughts? Will Dreamworks please or disappoint? _________________ "All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you." - Gandalf the Grey

The most recent Entertainment Weekly had a little write up on the people doing the voices _________________ We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

I may go and see it because for once they didn't based their stories on Disney's latest anime and also because it seems very funny! _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

We were singing "I like to move it" all the way to the pub after seeing that movie. Hmpf, that track should be added to the Madagascar soundtrack here.
Fun movie though; not the best I've ever seen, but certainly good entertainment, and plenty of humor. I'm pretty sure the DVD version will decorate my room before long.
The penguins were brilliant of course. |

Loved the penguins- they were psychotic! They should get their own sequel. |

I decided to take my 4 year old to the movie theater to see this. He was VERY entertained. I was very entertained.
I do like how they called the animals "The Pansies" or when all the furries yelled' "All hail the NY giants!"
Very cute and yes like you other posters, i was singing "I like to move it, move it" |

Overall I thought there were several cute parts, but I was rather disappointed. I think partially cause I was hoping it would live up to the very high expectations that Dreamworks created with Shrek. Personally I think this is a movie more suited for children to enjoy whereas Shrek was better suited for all ages to enjoy. Just my humble opinion of course. |
