With this trend of "super" movies, I said to myself, "Self - if they re-made Wonder Woman as a movie, who could play the beautiful princess." At the time, I was focusing on Catherine Zeta-Jones, but I'm not sure if she's "up and coming" enough. Perhaps Keira Knightly? Angelina Jolie? Jessia Alba? So, I thought I'd see what everyone else thinks... _________________ "Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral" - Darth Vader, ESB |

Angelina Jolie has all ready played Lara Croft so she'll be a bit odd for the role.
Natalie Portman is miss Vader, and she will be for some time (imo)
Keira Knightly is just...well, she's Keira Knightly
Catherine Zeta-Jones just isn't suited for a superhero role.
Jessica Alba might be okay for the role...
Don't know who Andy Dick, but isn'r Andy a boys name?? _________________ Our umbrellas are colliding and I can't walk straightly.

So, I did a little research and apparently Wonder Woman the movie is coming out in 2007... The actress has not yet been named. Here is a link to the poster though:

Catherine Zeta-Jones = the most Amazonian looking of this group (IMO), followed by Angelina. Wonder Woman was always described as being Amazon (isn't her home planet named something like that?). But, I'm not sure that "Cat" is still right for the role.
Jessica Alba - although incredibly beautiful, she's too tiny.
Keira Knightly - again, incredible beauty, but I think she is too skinny to pull off being an Amazon. Keira is lacking a bit "upstairs" to look like Wonder Woman. And besides, Wonder Woman smiles a lot, and this is something you seldom see Keira do.
Angelina Jolie - Another Amazon looking woman, but just doesn't quite fit for me.
Natalie Portman - er, how did she get in this list? Pretty, but not at all Wonder Woman material. _________________ "insert your own clever quote here.... I'm too lazy to do it." |

Ahh, forgot she was an amazon...
In that case, Angelina would be on the top of my list _________________ Our umbrellas are colliding and I can't walk straightly.

Andy Dick?!?!?!
Based on looks alone... Jessica Alba.
Although Lucy Lawless is good too. _________________ "It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him." ~ J.R.R. Tolkien

I'm still a fan of Alexa Davalos (Kyra in Cronicles of Riddick and the original body model for Laura Croft) in any movie that's gonna show her off. Gawd that's aweful, but I'm smitten!
