i'm just curious if anyone knows of any other works of lisa gerards other than what she's done in gladiator and man on fire, and aside from those movies does anyone know of any similar soundtrack music (or music in general) that has the same feel as those and others such as: the passion of the christ, the last temptation, any of the ethnic vocal feel?
hmm, if i'm too wordy or just plain incomprehensible i guess i'm free to bash lol. i'm sort of a newbie to the boards btw. you guys seem to be the nicest of people i've browsed accross in a long time.

If you like Lisa's work in Gladitor you might want to give a listen to some of her solo albums. I like her work a lot. I can personally recommend these two albums since I own them.
Duality
and
Immortal Memory
She also was a part of the group Dead Can Dance. So looking at their music might be of interest to you as well. _________________ I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. She was or still is for all I know in the band "Dead Can Dance" too. May want to check that out for at least curiosity's sake. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

thank you both, but i'm actually looking for something a little off the beaten track, as far as lisa goes, i've listened to much of her music. she is amazing! but if there's any others similar to her i'd love to know of them.
thanks again btw!
i don't believe i've heard duality so i'll definately check that album out. |

I was just searching through my collection at home and found another band you might like called Vas. They are a bit more "off the beaten track" and ethnic sounding.
This is the album I own but I am sure any of their work will be somewhat similar in sound.
