Hahaha, it was awesome indeed. - it had been a long time since I actually witnessed an entire launch live (a decade, nearly two even..yikes), I still remember seeing Challenger go live... - but today was great; awesome pick of soundtracks, really contributed well. |

I watched this thing from beginning (the astronauts being driven to the shuttle ) till the end (lift-off ). I was actually nervous just seconds before the launch, hoping that all would go well Great thing to see SST also having an eye on these kind of events.
And now for some pictures of this historical event (not sure if there is a policy for this )

It's awesome to see so many other SSTers are excited by the STS-114 mission! I've been watching NASA TV almost 24/7 so haven't had much chance to check in with you guys in chat. Here's to all the film scoring-loving NASA & space exploration enthusiasts out there!!
