What is the best action score? The score that gives you the most adrenaline! _________________ Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.

As much as I hate Hans Zimmer, and the Media Venture group, I'm gonna have to say *Broken Arrow*. That was some pretty fancy firework. Second to that, I'd choose S.W.A.T by Elliot Goldenthal. _________________ "Two wrongs do not make a right, but three rights make a left"

Good one JERIC! For me it's definitely Zimmer but it's a hard choice between these three: The Peacemaker, Broken Arrow, or Drop Zone. _________________ "Get it?...Got it!...GOOD!" -- The Court Jester |

You're right about Drop Zone. "Too Many Notes, Not Enough Rests" is a really good one. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Definitely! Although there's a section I like in "After the Dub".
I can't wait for the "Batman Begins" soundtrack! _________________ "Get it?...Got it!...GOOD!" -- The Court Jester |

As weird as this sounds, the BTTF soundtrack really revs me up. Especially certain chase sequences, or the clock tower, train, etc. tracks where doc/marty are racing to beat time _________________ "When you look into the eyes of a wolf you see into your soul. I would have to say... there are 3 soundtracks which I regard as best action scores. Listed below in no particular order.
1. The Rock
2. Bad Boys
3. Speed
These three movies can have your adrenalin pumping! |

Absolutly agree.
It's a mess Bad Boys score was never released. Same thing for speed 2, better than the first one (I'm talking of the OST ) |

Unfortunately, I've only heard the 3 from SST and from the movie DVDs. Don't own them but the score CDs are on my wishlist (unfortunate if they weren't released). I think if there's anything good about Speed 2... it would only be the Score and Sandra Bullock! |
