I originally wasn't going to make this a playlist request. Most of the tracks (if not all) are already here, and these aren't the original recordings. But, if I was going to go through the trouble to post about it, I might as well do it right. Even if we skip this so we can put something better/newer/tastier/whateverer I know that there are some here who might be interested in this. So, here we go:
1. El Cid: Fanfare And Entry Of The Nobles
2. Hook: Main Themes
3. T. Rex!
4. Jurassic Park: Main Theme
5. Splitting Hairs
6. Robin Hood: Main Titles
7. Henry V: Opening And Closing Titles
8. Willow: Main Themes
9. The Seventh Voyage Of Sinbad: Overture
10. The Abyss: End Titles
11. Clash Of The Titans: Main Titles, Love Theme, And End Titles
12. The Rocketeer: To The Rescue And End Titles
13. Bettlejuice: Main Title
14. Total Recall: Main Titles
15. The Princess Bride: Main Titles
16. Wizards And Warriors: Main Titles
17. Conan The Barbarian: Anvil Of Crom
18. The Hunt For Red October: Hymn To Red October
19. Cybergenesis
20. Terminator: Theme
21. Jurassic Lunch
Seems quite amatureish to me, based on the cover and track titles. I'll vote to not add it to the site, as those resources would be better utilized elsewhere. I did want to share it with the SST community, though. I was amused by the inclusion of Track 3, which appears to be an T-rex sound effect of some sort, and of course it's in |||SURROUND SOUND|||

Good mix of titles in there, I like. _________________ Pixie "Actually Tree, I wasn't referring to you as a dingus, but seems like you might just qualify as one now!" |

Seems too redundant to me. I would rather get the full CDs of the songs we're missing if possible. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I tried to say that, but I guess it didn't come out right.

As far as I know the SST playlist, the only missing songs would be:
11. Clash Of The Titans: Main Titles, Love Theme, And End Titles
16. Wizards And Warriors: Main Titles
Not counting the Sound Effects tracks (T. Rex!, Splitting Hairs, Cybergenesis, Jurassic Lunch).
Hope this helps deciding. |

Is it possible? Doesn't "Surround Sound" mean using more than 2 channels? Maybe there is some "extended CD format" I don't know about... |

Thanks for the input panchito. As for |||SURROUND SOUND||| I'd suspect that that's the marketing department at work.

I'd be interested in hearing their version of the "Hook" theme.
Other than that, I have no real opinion on this one. _________________ "You have been chosen to represent Earth in Mortal Kombat. Be warned. Although your souls are protected from Shao Kahn's evil: your lives are not. I cannot interfere any longer as your Earth is now ruled by the Outworld gods." |

I really enjoy hearing other conductor/orchestra renditions of music, IMHO. _________________ Pixie "Actually Tree, I wasn't referring to you as a dingus, but seems like you might just qualify as one now!" |
