Has anybody else been having trouble connecting to the stream over the past day or so? I'm not sure why, but Live 365 doesn't seem to work for me, and Windows Media Player tells me "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the associated playlist is not valid."

It could just be my computer, but I'd appreciate hearing from others if they've experienced anything similar, just in case.

Same problem with Windows Mediaplayer for me, and iTunes keeps loading (plays 10 sec. of music then loads, plays 10 sec. of music then loads etc.)

I fixed the WMP issue but you shouldn't have any problems with the streams once you connect.

I listen via the desktop Live365 Player and have had no problems with the stream right up to this minute. However, when I tried to do their upgrade, it crashed and caused problems, so I went back to the old version. Now when I open it and it asks "Would you like to upgrade now?", I click No.

I also recently tried to upgrade iTunes and had many problems - "generated errors... creating error log". After many unsuccessful retrys, uninstalls, etc., I found the problem was with QuickTime (2 duplicate files). I deleted those and iTunes installed without a hitch after that. Their stream has been smooth, too.

Good luck.

iTunes works ok for me, it's just Live 365 and WMP that are giving me problems. WMP is now giving me a different error message:

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because a network problem occurred. Verify that you are connected to the network, and then try again later."

But I know I'm connected to the network. Strange, no?

In any case, thanks for your efforts, JERIC and Cal.

Didn't want to start a new thread as I don't really post much.

As some of you are aware, my SST has been cut by the IT people at work. Yes there are ways around it and I thank all who gave suggestions. This is not the case though, they monitor our internet usage by a graph and they can tell when someone streams because the bar stayed really high for long periods of time. It makes work so much worse because this station and you guys helped get me through the long work day.

So now I have even worse news. It appears that the stream and website have been down for more than 10 hours today, Nov 2nd. There is a high probable chance that the IT people at my work have located the SST central server and infiltrated with large amounts of squirrels. Sorry everyone. The IT people must have bugged my machine. They now know all your IP addresses and will soon cut your stream too. Be careful.
