Not only is John Williams the most over-rated composer, but the entire Star Wars soundtrack collection is identical and can be summed up in one track. It is uninspired, lifeless and mediocre at best.
Please remove all Star Wars crap and replace them with themes from quality films like Babes in Toyland with Keanu Reeves or John Carpenter's Dark Star.
Just kidding!!
Since we hear the entire collection of SW tracks everyday, I thought I would be a goofball!
And now for something completely different... |

*Whew* I was getting ready to compose a scathing retort! Williams is my favorite composer, and the Star Wars soundtracks are wonderful examples of leit motif used to it's full potential! _________________ "And some rin uphill and downdale, knapping the chunky stanes to pieces wi' hammers, like sae many road-makers run daft. When I first started reading this thread, I thought Jorelson was being rather daring. Even if I don't like a composer, I won't say so on this station because they all have seriously devoted fans.
However, as one of John Williams' most truly seriously, obsessively, devoted fans, I might have gotten a little upset.
I was a fan of Mr. Williams before I even considered Star Wars more than a pure waste of time. NBC's Today Show had interviewed George Lucas who showed scenes of Star Wars without the music and it was really dumb. Then showed it with the music, and it was incredible. George was trying to show people how much affect Williams' music actually had on that movie.
Way to go - John Williams' _________________ 'It was irritating to me that I should need money. I shouldn't need it.' Ed, The January Man |

I was a bit unsure on that, thanks for the correct spelling. Nice to see you Wolfy.
So as I was saying "You are both doofuses, Joe Hisaishi is better."
