I downloaded iTunes a month ago, and when I played SST for the first time, I was hooked. I noticed some other stations (which I would discover if there was a Live 365 stream problem) would display the song info, whereas for SST, it was just the name, and the uninterrupted play timer. Lo and behold, I went to the site, and discovered I could make requests, and see the song info, current and queued.
So it's supposed to display song info? I didn't mind if SST had this feature or not and I've managed the last 4 weeks without it, so I never saw it as a problem. Is this an iTunes settings issue, or something else altogether? _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.

Jeric's right: the song info is back; I don't know why it was gone for a while. It is usually displayed in the line right above the play timer. You can left-click on the display to toggle between the song info and the iTunes default message, though they should be alternating back and forth automatically. |

This is all I'm getting:
StreamingSoundtracks.com
(play timer)(song progress bar (n/a) )
iTunes would recognize it as one continuous song, so the progress bar would never move. The play timer would keep going so as long as the stream wasn't interrupted. The "arrow on the left" is the switch between this and the Equalizer graphs. Tried the one of the right, and nothing doing.
Left-clicked everything. Still no song info. _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.

Are you listening through the listen links on SST or the Radio links in iTunes? _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Do you get titles with other stations? Do you have the latest version of iTunes? _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Hmmm, after you download the latest version of iTunes, try letting the stream run for 10 minutes or so before checking the display. Mine also doesn't update the play timer for each song or the progress bar, but the artist/title/album info is there. |

I'm on iTunes 6.0.1.3
What's the latest version? I do get titles and track play time with other stations. _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.

Same version here. You may want to try linking through Live365 instead of the iTunes radio station listing. I don't know if it will make a difference, but good luck. |
