Come on, squeal, squeal! Eeeeeee!
This is a great album and Deliverance is a great movie for anyone with a little hillbilly-humor. I've got both in the collection but as far as I can tell, the only track that's from the movie is the first (Dueling Banjos). _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk? |

is there a offical release for the ST? _________________ If you have it you don't need it. If you need it you don't have it. You need it to get it and you certainly need it to get more of it. Which means you don't have it to begin with people just know. |

If you look at the info on the Amazon site it says that only the first track is from the movie, and the rest of the tracks are from another album.
It's not clear to me whether or not they also appeared in the film.

"Dueling Banjos" is such an instantly recognizable and classic movie song, I vote for adding at least this track. Can you imagine the fun times in chat when this plays? |

The other tracks on the CD are full-speed crazy banjo playing and I don't recall hearing that in the movie (Except the Dueling Banjos of course). As I remember it, there's not much music in the movie at all, so it makes sense. _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk? |

Sound like a no vote from me, then, unless somebody wants to donate it knowing that only one track will appear on the site.
I may pick one up for myself though. The only problem with bluegrass music is that it makes me want to drive too fast. I blame the Dukes of Hazzard.

I'm in favor of just adding the 1 track. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I agree..... let's acquire "Dueling Banjos" in the least expensive release with the Eric Weissberg / Steve Mandell collaboration of the Arthur Smith / Don Reno composition.
