Hi guys
Like your site very much.
Getting the following error message when Now Playing changes to
We will return to the music in a moment...
Then I get this error message... Done but with errors...
lINE: 118
cHAR: 1
Error: 'document.all.countDownText' is null or not an object
Code: 0
uRL:: http://www.streamingguys.com/playing.php
That brings me to another question I have trying to set up SAM on a PHPNuke site.
I get the following error message.
Line: 5
Char: 2
Error: '$timeout$' is undefined
Code: 0
uRL: http://......./playing.html
I know I have to add something in includes/javascript.php but I am not an expert and tried many different ways but could not get it workinig. It shows the correct artist who is now playing but does not refresh.
It would be great if somebody could help me with that script, if you do such things.
I tried also to use playing.php but cannot connect to my SAM DB on my PC.
Thanks in advance

I can confirm the same error, which only shows up curiously enough when played in Windows Media Player. The source is slightly different but the same error message, i.e.:
Line: 102 Char: 1
Error: 'document.all.countDownText' is null or not an object
URL: http://www.streamingsoundtracks.com/playing.php
It looks like the script is attempting to reset the countdown timer which does not exist in the advertisement page. Since you are probably using generic functions, may I suggest putting in a timer (even if it makes no sense) to avoid this error?
Tips for other WMP users: to clear this error, simply select another tab, e.g. "Library" and then return to "Now Playing". This will force a refresh of the contents and fix the problem. Unforunately, this must be repeated every time the banner comes up. |
