The two cover art pictures I really like the most are
Bliss (Jan A.P. Kaczmarek) in the category "still"
and
The Cowboys (John Williams) in the category "painting"
Now, which are you favorites?
Take care,
Tomi

That's a cool idea, Tomi! Have to think about it (and take a look at my CD collection at home).
But, I can't see the pictures in your post. Does anyone else have this problem? _________________ "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe" - Blade Runner |

Well, not sure about most beautiful, but the Princess Mononoke: Symphonic Suite cover has always caught my eye:

Are the images visible now? If yes, thanks a lot, Saff!
And Rhu... very good choice! I also like these mist-covered mountains very much!
The thing is, you don´t have to chose THE most beautiful cover arts in general... but the ones you find the greatest personally.

Nice choice RR. Having the real cover under my eyes, I confirm it's a beautiful one. Looks almost real, and I know what I'm talking about
I find the Jin-Roh CD (japanese version) to be one of the best art cover in my collection. The front picture has holes in it so that we're able to see the cell that is beneath (I'm not sure I make myself clear )
Another cool cover is the one from ICO. Nice art!

I like the ICO cover Alch. It reminds of me Dahli's work. Good choice _________________ "When you look into the eyes of a wolf you see into your soul. Hope you like what you see..." Aldo Leopold |

I've been looking at the album covers as they hit the now playing window here. finally one caught my eye. to me this is beautiful... I like the foreshadowing the image gives toward the movie.

I love this movie. I am a straight man and I love this movie. Even my name is in reference to it. |

LOL, Noah. The contrast between your avatar and The Notebook album cover is pretty dramatic. Glad to know that down deep, you're an ol' softie. |

Well, now that's the most surprising thing I've heard this week. You're a romantic. I mean, judging from your avatar and your dislike of Serenity (Firefly generally tested better with women than men at the outset), this would have been about the last thing I would have guessed about you. |

Not to be religious or anything,
But that's why god made all the colors of the rainbow. So that we can all have a favorite color.
Within my top 5 flicks.
Snatch
Kill Bill Vol 1
The Notebook
Akira
The Matrix movies.
I know that The Notebook is an obvious oddball in my list. The reason I love this movie so much is because I too had a lover named Aly, that was a summer romance, and she never returned. As much as she wanted, she married for the wrong reasons. To watch that movie is how my life "should" have ended. I never read the book (far to busy) but the way the director captured the exact emotions I had/have, are gut renching. |

My favourite cover art is from CD's that use the same or similar artwork as used in the movie poster. All these are hanging on a wall in my home.
And yes, I am a science fiction fan.
