Nice CD covers indeed
Just bought Oxygène, by Jean-Michel Jarre
Well, ok, this album is 30 years old and I have the tape for many many years now, but then I found the CD for a good price! _________________ "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe" - Blade Runner |

I just tried two Imogen Heap albums, I rather liked 'Speak for yourself' but "I, Megaphone" not so much. Is Frou Frou more of the same or a different style? |

imogen is the singer for frou frou. its her and this guy that does the cool sounds accompanying. I think if you liked speak for yourself, you'll like her earlier stuff that she did in frou frou. all her stuff is kinda indie, so i suppose you'd say iits the same. also good artists along the same lines are kate havnevik (a bit more laid back) and katie melua (who is a bit more blues-y) _________________ Was that an earthquake, or did I just rock your world? |

I think the last non-soundtrack CD I bought was "The Metal Opera Part II" by Avantasia. Awesome sequel to the masterpiece that is The Metal Opera (Part I).
I am a huge fan of Metal, Power Metal especially and Avantasia is one of my all-time favorite bands. Check them out if you like epic, fantastical and melodic metal! |

Power Metal rocks! I wish I had the time to get into it more. For those of you wondering what the difference is between Power Metal and what I play at SST's sister (evil twin) station, http://death.fm, Death & Black Metal typically has rough vovals as opposed to clean, and it's a bit more brutal.
Last non-soundtrack/metal CD (that I like) is: Depeche Mode's latest- Playing the Angel

It has been awhile since I bought a CD. The last CD that I bought was Bruce Hornsby's Halcyon Days. I have been a fan of Bruce's since the 80's. His sound is very different now that it was during his days with "The Range". You may have heard a snippet from "Gonna Be Some Changes Made" when it was used in commercials for Lowe's home improvement stores. |

I just picked up recently the CD, "How to Save A Life" by The Fray. They are a local CO band that has made it pretty big now. Pretty good music that I enjoy when I need a break from film scores.

My last one was actually a cd put out by a choir I was in, so I'm on the cd... But the last one that anyone else would have heard of was "It's Time" by Michael Bublé. (Think a modern Sinatra.) _________________ I can see right through you... |
