|
I just heard 'The Kiss' from that album on the stream, and I thought it was about time to buy the album. So I went to me favourite online store. But they have a 3 CD version available soon:
play.com link to the album
Is there a new version out?
You peeps no more about soundtracks than I do :-) |

I think I've got it in my collection Caliburn (I bought it few months ago during my short stay in Germany)
Only the first CD is a movie soundtrack.
Another two CDs are containing music form some Indian band.
That folk, indian music is not bad. I remember that I liked cue "Riding Storm" very much.
Let me give you more details tomorrow Cal - if you are interested - because at the moment I keep this album at my office and - being now at home - I can't tell you more. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

This special edition CD was released by edel in January 2006 and does NOT contain extra music from the film.
Actually, edel was only able to license exactly the same contents as the original Morgan Creek release (including the Clannad-penned 'I Will Find You'.
The extra tracks contained in the other two CD's are from two earlier edel releases: "Mohicans: Music Inspired by The Last of the Mohicans" (serial 669952H) and "Chapter 2: Music Inspired by the Deep Spirit of Native Americans" (serial 720325H). Needless to say, none of the music in these two CD's has anything to do with Last of the Mohicans, it's just a cash-in.
An edition with extra cues from the movie is highly unlikely, because there would be very very little to release. _________________ Do NOT click this link!

That's what I expected, Diane.
Thanks for the clarification! |

Let's forget this part of my post
I took a look at the CD booklet and it is said that "music inspired by the deep spirit of native americans" was composed by "Fabrizio Baldoni, Gino De Stefani, Paolo RE" (there are only few exceptions). Music has been recorded in Italy.
Composers don't look like "native americans".
Well... unless they are from Spaghetti Westerns _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,
