Good one Nate, I concur. I didn't see the system 'live' yet until just now and it also caught my eye.
Maybe there could be a three-colour shading system. One for available, one for artist in the queue, and one for requested during the last 8 days. Although changing the hover text will also do the trick I'm sure |

My biggest issue is now if I go into an album where an artist is already in queue all the buttons are non-requestable, but when as I hover over the buttons it just tells me that the Artist is in Queue. So, basically I have to wait until the composer is out of queue to see which songs have been requested in the last 8 days and which have not. |
I understand your problem, but I just want to clarify something. Tracks that are disabled because of the no-repeat rule will still show the time estimates when you hover them. Only tracks that are disabled because of the artist-in-queue rule will say so when you hover them. Like albi says the problem is to tell the difference between the two types of disabled tracks. We'll try to make a 3-color set of request buttons and see how that works out. _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk? |

Alright Sensei, you are correct and my apologies. I guess when I was testing my assumption it was on albums that were not requested from all that much. I am completely fine with how things are currently constructed. Thank you very much for all of your efforts, it is much appreciated.

No problem. A good application should always be intuitive, so in the end it's my fault. But always remember: assumption is the mother of all f***-ups _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk? |

Hehe, "Under Siege 2" isn't the only place I've heard that! And it has proven itself to me in real life many times. _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk? |

Yeah I know Sensei, but the Under Siege 2 reference is the most memorable. Great line though! Saw the tweak to the original set up and think it is awesome! Thanks a ton Sensei! _________________ "My Logic is Undeniable" - I, Robot |

Look at Sensei's beautiful, colorful handiwork.
Well done, Sensei! (Or should I say, "Shihan?!")

Nominates change for "Best Improvement to SST" for the year 2006.
Awesome work, should make requesting much easier and less frustrating!
Thanks for figuring out how to implement things Sensei, JERIC, and anyone else involved!

@Sensei:
I'm not sure if this is what you intended but it still looks like a two-colour scheme to me. If the artist is not in the queue, the tracks that are available still have a green colour, instead of the usual grey I would expect. Just thought I would point it out |
