Michael Kamen's Concerto for Saxophone
Although not a soundtrack, I found this concerto to be quite inspiring. There's nothing much to say about it, you'll just have to check it out for yourself. You won't be dissapointed.

There's a link on this page to Amazon as well.
The first movement alone, is worth adding to the playlist. Hear it out, people! _________________ "Two wrongs do not make a right, but three rights make a left"

This would be a cool addition. The 1st movement is terrific indeed! And as a film score connection he reused the same theme in Winter's Guest (although I still prefer the suite with french horn version on Michael Kamen's Opus)
He did a Concerto for Guitar (with Tomoyasu Hotei) as well (would make for another fine addition). I've been trying to get that one for sometime but its too pricey. |

Sounds like a dubious soundtrack connection at best. I'm one of those who don't think we should have the Pink Floyd symphonic stuff here either, so I'm a no on this one.
I wouldn't say you've gone mad, though, but you didn't give me any other choice.

Of course it has a soundtrack/composer connections. With a couple of rehash tracks from Brazil, and Winter's Guest. But it's not like I'm requesting the Four Seasons, you know. Just thought it would of made a good listion . _________________ "Two wrongs do not make a right, but three rights make a left"

A wonderful work indeed. (Oh, there's also a great DVD of the entire concert for those interested; it should be readily available from Amazon). _________________ Do NOT click this link!
