What is the Catchiest Opening Track to a Motion Picture ?

I'm thinking along the lines of:

"Beverly Hills Cop"

or

"Ghostbusters"

What say you..... What are the catchiest opening tracks of motion pictures ? ? ?

North By Northwest will always be a favorite of mine. That opening always gets me in the mood to watch that film.

Fiddler on the Roof - Tradition.

When I see the show on stage, that number always gets me excited. Does a pretty good job in the film, too.

Yeah, I agree. That's a great one.

Some others, just off the top of my head:

Star Wars
Total Recall
The Last Starfighter
The Last of the Mohicans
Abre los Ojos (the Spanish film that Vanilla Sky was based on)
Stargate
Fight Club

Without a doubt – Star Wars. That opening “ta-dah!” makes you jump right out of your seat and there’s no mistaking what movie it is.

By “catchiest opening track”, you really do mean opening, right?

How about St. Elmo’s Fire?

I agree with star wars, but which one to choose? I think the opening music for episode 3, Revenge of the sith, does an excellent job of cathcing you attention. You are dumped right into an enormous space battle, the best opening for any of the six movies!

Right, I meant the opening piece that's heard as the movie begins.....

So, in the case of Fiddler On The Roof.... "Tradition" as a song is heard later in the movie.... but parts of "Tradtition" may be heard in the opening piece of the movie.

Sort of like, imagine that you are in your computer room, typing away on some message board.... and from the other room, you hear the opening piece from a movie.....

So, what are the catchiest opening tracks ? ?

I'm surprised that nobody mentioned "James Bond" yet...
