I sure wish this show was on a different night. I've only seen one episode since the season premiere!

Hmmm, maybe I'll just rent the DVDs when they come out...

Well, Luther, you can always buy the episodes one by one at iTunes. It's expensive, of course.
They play a couple times a week, though I think the encore showing is in the middle of the night somewhere.
I hope something happens on the next episode. Not that I didn't like the most recent one, but I'm itching for some story to move forward, rather than introspective character stuff and Adama doing what he does best, memorably making points. Maybe I've been spoiled by the beginning of this season. |

I agree, last week's episode seemed lacking, maybe it was the total lack of Cylons in the episode.
I think it's about time for the spineless cretin Gaius Baltar to die. |

Sorry...I've been away for a bit.
As I said before, DVD is the best way to see this show. Good season so far...glad they got off New Caprica as quickly as they did. |

I don't think it's been posted before:
http://www.bearmccreary.com/
This is the website-blog of "Battlestar Galactica" composer Bear McCreary.
The blog is very interesting as McCreary explains how he approaches BSG music, and what are his influences.
In the latest entry (25 feb 2007), he mentions Shirley Walker's Batman scores as being one of his major inspirations and gives her a moving tribute.
A must read for all BSG / Bear McCreary fans out there |

Very nice Alchemist. I just emailed them to let them know about the SST Awards. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

For those interested....SciFi has announced a "Make your own BSG"
http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/videomaker/
The only requirement is to include the ending clip to pimp BSG. That's it. The rest is up to you. They have graciously provided quite a bit of video and audio clips for your use.

Just a little something I wanted to share with you BSG fans.
Naturally, all of you remember the swear-in of president Roslin in the first part of the miniseries. I read somewhere later on that this scene had a big resemblance to the scene where president Johnson is sworn in. That happened on a plane after the assassination on president Kennedy. I recently saw that scene in a movie (titled: This Film Is Not Yet Rated) and I captured them both. Here they are for your comparison

I couldn't resist.
