Thanks for posting this NotMiles! Isham does a great job explaining how he approaches a score and what tools he uses to make a film score happen. Amazing to see how technology makes the process so much simpler these days! I especially liked his comments regarding 'No Boundaries' and how the freedom in film scoring is what makes the profession so exciting! |

You are most welcome! Having spent a brief amount of time w/ Mark, I must say the single quality of his that I most admire, aside from his compositional skills, is his sense of humor. Although he approaches his craft with seriousness, he doesn't take himself too seriously. The interview bears that out.
Among the general population, Mark is truly one of the more underappreciated artists in film score composition, but most folks in the industry acknowledge his talents and rightfully so.
Glad you enjoyed the interview Nate. I'll pass along to Mark your kind words.
