This is interesting: I just heard a track from Big - "Visiting Home" - and recognized the theme from the 1979 TV special and album John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together a song titled "It's in Every One of Us." So I looked up the album and found the song listed by Pomeranz. I googled the title with Pomeranz and find David Pomeranz wrote and performed the song in 1976 and is listed as Songwriter on Big and an Actor in a 1987 documentary entitled It's in Every One of Us - he's the only cast member listed. It's been a while since I've seen Big and I didn't recognize the theme then, and don't remember the song being sung in the film: it's not in the playlist for the soundtrack either. Anyway, I thought someone else might appreciate learning the connection...
