Corporations try to use all sense to create and build a brand. More and more corporations are hiring composers and licensing music to help towards building a brand identity in their audio visual presentations. This panel will seek to look at how you can help create or license music that sells a product or creates and image for a corporation.

* Panel moderator PETER KOHAN is the Owner and President of the Kohan Music Group, a music consulting firm which serves both corporate brands and independent labels and artists. Kohan Music Group has developed a "special markets rep company" concept that allows client labels and artists to gain entrée to the revenues and profits controlled by the major labels for decades.

Peter has over eight years' sales experience working for both Sony BMG Custom Marketing Group and Universal Music Special Markets. Working at those labels he forged deals and relationships with top corporate clients such as 7-Eleven, Dr. Pepper/Seven Up, Inc., H&R Block, Jostens, Miller Brewing Co., Procter & Gamble, Shell Oil Company, Starbucks Coffee Co., Unilever , Victoria 's Secret, and others. He previously served as Director of Marketing for the indie band web site Billboard Talent Net. Peter has also worked in marketing roles at Verve Music Group and Jazz at Lincoln Center

** Just added** KEITH D'ARCY began his professional career in 1994 as Music Librarian at JSM Music. From 1999-2004 he served as Associate Director, Music Resources at EMI Music Publishing.

Following a two year stint at Sony BMG Music Entertainment as Vice President, Music Licensing & Integrated Marketing, he returned to EMI Music Publishing in July of 2006 as Senior Vice President, Music Resources and Development, to help EMIMP continue to grow their strategic outreach, synchronization of copyrights, and to provide creative access to the catalog, for both internal sales staff and external licensing clients.

** Just added** Martin Pazzani is Chairman/CEO/President of Elias Arts Holdings LLC., the world's most awarded commercial music company, where they have worked for over 700 of the Fortune 1000 companies.

He is a seasoned global executive, expert in branding, integrated marketing and strategic development, who has held senior positions in advertising (FCB, DDB, IPG), as a client CMO (Bally, Heublein/Diageo) and done business on six continents for major global brands. Under his leadership, Elias Arts has expanded its audio strategy and branding practice, launched a fast-growing latino music company (Avenida Acceso), and branched out aggressively beyond advertising into film, trailers, new media, spatial and product sonification, and music supervision.

* ALEX MOULTON is the founder and guiding force behind Expansion Team and Expansion Team Records. Having composed and supervised music for hundreds of ads, he's also supervised many network audio re-brands, including the launch of Showtime NEXT (which led him to launch Expansion Team), Comedy Central (for four years in a row), HGTV and most recently, Universal Network. He recently scored the feature film Descent, starring and co-produced by Rosario Dawson.

A longtime DJ, playing from Cancun to Tokyo, Alex also has the honor of being the only DJ ever to perform at La Fenice (the opera house in Venice). As a producer and remixer, he's collaborated with such diverse artists as Grammy-winning writer Itaal Shur, Scott Hardkiss, Triple Threat DJs, Ror-Shak, and Zion I. Alex is also one half of directing duo T&A, who have created made breakthrough videos for Funkstörung, Mocean Worker, Bajotierra and Tosca. Alex's breakout video was Tiga's "Hot In Herre" which was nominated for 3 MVPA awards. In 2008, Alex will release his debut album.

* GARY SUTCLIFFE is the Creative Director and Executive Producer for Wax, a music and sound design company. Trained in classical music and opera, he has designed music for just about every beer, car, or soft-drink brand out there. Wax’s clients include Pfizer, MCI, Mastercard, Pantene, Victoria’s Secrets and agencies like J. Walter Thompson, Cliff Freeman & Partners, and McCann Erickson.
