Most video games that are made after movies basically... well... suck. However, evidently the game called the Bourne Conspiracy http://reviews.cnet.com/xbox-360-games/robert-ludlum-s-the/4505-11457_7-32491095.html?tag=nl.e775 doesn't suck. Sooooooo, this thread will be to talk about the good video games made after movies or the lousy games made after movies. All you video game playing Bourne fans may want to check this out.

It's funny but I remember video games with movie tie-ins being really good on the Spectrum (I know, I know, I'm going really retro here!) Let's see, there was Aliens, Robocop, Batman, Short Circuit and the Great Escape (although I don't actually think that was a movie tie in!)

I wonder these days how much of a cash in these games are? I haven't yet found a Harry Potter game I've been impressed with, for example.

I've been really curious about Iron Man.

Of course the most infamous movie based video game is the Atari 2600 ET:The Extra Terrestrial. They buried thousands of copies in the desert!! lol

The SNES games weren't bad really...

Same here, mellow Smile I loved these games. I'm also thinking of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Dune. Not too new either Wink

The Star Wars SNES games were good. Chronicles of Riddick is supposed to be better than the movie!

I'm glad you're around alchemist to reminisce about old Spectrum games with me! I could quite easily fall into the trap of listing every Spectrum game I ever loved and spent way too many hours playing. Somehow for all the advance of computer games over the years I still find these old simple programs endearing and inventive. Bless it the Spectrum didn't really have graphics to shout about so programmers had to really work hard on the gameplay. Best part of any game as far as I'm concerned.

Anyway, sorry WLZ, back to topic!

Yeah, I remember those too. Let's see now...

"Put the candle on the shelf"
I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PUT SOMETHING

"Place candle on the shelf"
I DO NOT KNOW HOT TO PLACE SOMETHING

"Candle on shelf"
I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CANDLE SOMETHING

"Shelf candle"
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT A SHELF IS

"Candle"
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT A CANDLE IS

"£$%* OFF"
I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO £$%* OFF

Yeah, fond memories!
