You want music or not?

I am quite happy with the 64k mp3pro stream.

Thanks admins, sounds good to me.

Yeah I want music! But... If it was possible not to switch on a different streaming every month... That would be great! Very Happy

Anyway! Wink

One question: How do I know if my mp3pro is working???

I did all this stuff after the codec installation:

Code:

Frstly install the mp3pro WINAMP Plugin you can get it from www.mp3pro.com
Next Extract mp3PRO decoder from Winamp and install in dBpowerAMP -

1) Browse to the Winamp Plugins Folder (normally C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins),
2) Find the Input plug-in required, it will be called in_mp3PRO.dll,
3) Copy this file to C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\Multiplayer\input\in_mp3PRO\
4) DELETE the existing dBpowerAMP mp3 decoder file C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\Multiplayer\input\mp3.dll
5) Restart dBpowerAMP and the new file type can be played,

Hum is that Ok? (I'm sure Cocles will come with a "did U read my FAQ", I apologize Smile )

In the marquee on your player it'll say "MP3Pro" after "Streaming Soundtracks" when playing the stream. Smile

Yep true! Very Happy

Thx Cocles!

But since the codec is installed... I don't have any title displayed on the playlist! (don't know if that's normal)

And by the way: sounds good this mp3pro! Wink

Dart, make sure you have the NEWEST Winamp plugin installed (1.2)

You can get it here...

http://www.mp3prozone.com/download_winamp.htm

Within the plugin's settings make sure everything is checked ON.

Why not do the full 96k mp3pro. So instead of comparible, it exceeds 128k mp3 quality?

Becuase it is overkill. Most of my mp3s are 128k. So they cannot sound better than what they originally are.

And, I tested 96k and there was still buffer issues at that bitrate.

Nothing important I just noticed that the "The Deep End Of The Ocean" album seem to have been split into two separate albums, and on the "WarCraft III, Reign Of Chaos" album there doesn't seem to be any info on the length of the tracks.

I just thought I would mention it. Smile

Die Hard - Roy Rogers Meets Beethoven's 9

Fade cut it off a bit early...

Indy's Map Room and Dawn seems to have the end completely cut off now. As in a hard cut (part of the music missing)...not even a crossfade.Sad

Since the new SAM2 the crossfader starts too early IMHO. Isn't there a setting Jeric can change in the software?

The fade on the newest release of SAM2 is buggy. But since everything else seems to be working okay we're dealing with it while Jeric tries to find a fix on his own.
