"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is one of my all time favorite scores, and I'll be the first to say that tracks #1 and #5 are obnoxious and shouldn't be on our playlist. |

OHMSS is one my favorite too but I think track # 1 and 5 really deserve to feature on the playlist. Too bad for the listeners... Hope you could change your mind one day |

They're boring, jarring songs that have no place on this station.
How's that? |

Nice to see you are digging up old threads ronankan.
But I do not think these two vocal tracks by Louis Armstrong and Nina will be added here.
But you please continue diggung, maybe you will find a request that JERIC will think it is time now to be added. Or see what others think about it. _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

his post made me laugh. so simple and precise. no reasoning or after thought. he dug up an old thread and wrote [add]. |

Something like that.
btw now rereading my original post, I probably was not all awake I forgot to mention the personal note. that I like those tracks. And I would like to see the Armstrong track to be added. After the statement that it will not be added I had to add a personal note. _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

Hmm, at least #1 "We Have All The Time in The World" could be added. It's a quite nice song IMHO (and a classic James Bond movie song, I think).
I have no opinion about the #5 but it didn't sound too bad either. |

I can't understand how 'We Have All The Time In The World', isn't included in the playlist like others vocal Bond songs.
This particular song is played during an important sequence in the film and is determinant in the overall plot of the movie.
During the album this theme is played in various forms and variations by the orchestra, which means that John Barry was aware of the importance of the theme when he scored the movie.
And if this isn't enough, then this song is also important for historical reasons, as it was the last song recorded by Louis Armostrong, before he passed away.
On the other hand 'Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown?' isn't important as 'We Have All The Time In The World', but then even this theme is briefly reprised in one occasion during the score in the track 'Blofeld's Plot'. |
