I have Muse and Pink Floyd on there as well as Metal like Metallica, Sepultura, Amon Amarth. Smile I'll have to check out the others too!

The only non-soundtrack stuff that I usually play, when i'm not in a music soundtrack mood.

Bands - dEUS, Sonic Youth, Radiohead, Mão Morta, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd and Sigur Rós
Musicians and singers - Beck, David Bowie, Bjork and Frank Zappa.

Plenty of music there to fill an iPod I believe.

ok. you need some classics....

Bossa Nova - any Tom Jobim (aka Antonio Carlos Jobim), Astrud Gilberto
Standards - some Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Harry Connick Jr.
Classic Jazz - Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Cole Porter
Some cheesy 80s - Bon Jovi, Journey

And you must always have some Christmas music on your i-pod: Bing Crosby, Elvis, pretty much any artist you like will probably have a Christmas cd!

Remember: Variety is the Spice of Life! And it's always fun to be surprised, when in shuffle mode, your ipod can make you laugh!
