Okay boys and girls! You know what time it is? It's time for the eigth annual edition of our favorite contest:
SST's Sexiest Man and Woman of the Year - 2009.
Want to join the Sexy Hall of Fame with our previous winners Hart, Cocles, j2brown, Chippy, Trinity3777, Natedogg_23 and jcmonair as sexiest man and Sarbear, RebeccaButterfly, Armand, Nenya18, Arlingirl and Lieserl as sexiest woman? Of course you do! And why oh why must you enter? Because it's fun and if you don't we will ragon. Not for just a couple weeks, mind you, but for years! Don't believe me? Ask our victims from previous years.
So what's the prize? A year of Fame and Fortune.
So ask a friend who has a camera to take a picture of you, and send it to caliburn(AT)24seven.fm. And if you think "Heck I'm ugly and don't wanna", well... I had only a couple of votes in previous years and that isn't going to stop me!
Deadlines:
Submission of the pictures: December 1th 12:01 AM SST time
(That means they must be sent on or before November 30st)
Voting ends: Dec 18th 12:01 AM SST time
And also for this year NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED. This is a very hard dead-line. Because I will be in sunny Egypt during the voting period :-)
As far as Guidelines go
Photoshop: I allow photoshopped pictures. You are allowed to change background. Colors of the overall image etc etc. Place a nice tag line in your picture like an ad or something. Be original it will get you votes. I do not allow changes to your body. So no own heads attached to bodybuilders bodies, no hair on your head while you are bald etc etc. I will be the judge of every picture and I can disqualify a picture when I think it is too much.
Masking your face: I will not allow masked faces.
Photos must be younger than one year: Disqualification when I find out it is older. I am going to be tough on this one.
Regarding bonus pictures : I will not create a bonus pictures page. It is extra work and it is not part of the competition. Feel free to add as many pictures on the forum as you like after the contest. If you submit more than one picture. The jury (me) will select the most sexiest.
During the voting phase, the names of the people on the photos are hidden. So keep it a secret which photo is yours to keep the contest fair. Names will be shown after the contest is over.
As preperation for this contest. I have temporarely removed the "Show your Face" thread. Also pages to previous contests are disabled.
So get those cameras and start shooting. Cry babies with excuses will be summarily consumed by the SST crew.

Took that picture and now I have to bring it to the photshop to develop the film. I hope the photographer will not mess it up.
Then I need to scan it in ....

As long as it's not some crazy obscure format or ridiculously large file it should be fine. Caliburn will usually make a thumbnail for the photo and then link it to the full photo. I don't know if he does any reformatting. When in doubt go with a JPEG of reasonable resolution. Remember it will be displayed on a computer monitor, and you don't get too many of those bigger than 1600x1200.

I always resize pictures to 800 pixels. As long as the picture can be read in photoshop, I am happy.
