Thanks for posting that link, Fewtra!
I'm a big fan of Horner's (good) music, and I have been anticipating this next (perhaps last?) installment of the Cameron/Horner collaboration. I was hoping for something groundbreaking, perhaps like a listenable version of Apocalypto. The clips don't suggest this will be a groundbreaking score, but it certainly sounds quite enjoyable. This will probably rank in my top 10, but not likely my top 5, of Horner's scores.
Thanks again for the link to the clips!!

I've not listened to the samples yet. My husband has and he told me that they reminded him of ... Titanic. Well, we'll see... and listen.

the music in this film was really epic and the ending of "war" actually brought tears to my eyes.
why don't we have this score on the playlists here? |

It doesn't sound quite like Titanic but, as usual, it does have a lot of Horner-isms in it. I've seen the movie a couple of times now and I tried to listen to the score on both occasions and haven't quite decided if I like it or not yet. _________________ "Anything one man can imagine,

Here's a negative critic of this score
The author says it has bits of Apocalypto, Legends of the fall and Glory.
I don't have an opinion myself, haven't hear any note from this score yet. _________________ There is no problem that can't be solve without any solution |
