Does anybody know how, if at all possible, to get Winamp/mp3pro to display the track name?
Edited to say: Nevermind about the winamp track title display. It works. Sorry about that. Then again maybe not. It's a bit confusing.
And thanks for the heads up on Winamp's bookmarking feature. I never used it until you mentioned it. QCD has a similar 3rd party plugin called Elephant but it's not as slick. It adds a "bookmark" type menu off the the main QCD menu. However if the bookmark contains a streaming PLS file (i.e. http: blah blah blah) clicking it annoyingly lauches your web browser, which in turn then directs the .pls back to QCD. Grr.... |

Not only do you have to turn the mp3PRO input plugin ON, but you also have to turn the normal mp3 input plugin OFF. This then allows the mp3PRO pluging to take over handling ALL of your mp3 needs.

Actually, all you have to do is move the mp3PRO plugin further up the priority list, but it's basically doing the same thing...
I'm another bod who's used QCD for awhile, mainly because I've had better stability with it than with Winamp.. _________________ The 50-50-90 rule: Any time you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong. |
