What do you people think about a alert window, what pops up if you have a PM ? I thought of something like the one you get if you add a track to your favs list, only with the message: “You have a new PM ! do you want to read it now ? YES/NO” |

As far as I remember SST has such feature to choose in user's profile.
Problem is that it seems to be dead (not working). At least for me (never got that pop-up message and I have chosen to get them).
I would be happy to see this feature working. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

No reason to be embarassed Nessy!
And I think it's great you opened this topic. I hope it will help us to find out what is wrong with this feature or what we do wrong so far _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

NO, Nessy, it's not a feature.
I think it would make a fine VIP feature though. I will pass along to other admins and see the feasibility.

I think Pesa said before that the whole pop-up alert application was not implemented so far. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Done, finally.
The option to open a popup window must be set to 'yes' (see Nessy's post above).
Basic rules:- If there is one or more new/unread PMs, a message box appears, asking for a decision (to read or to cancel).
- If 'cancel' is chosen, the system will not ask you again until:
- A new PM arrives
- Six hours (or more) have passed since your last 'cancel'
- If 'ok' (read) is chosen, the system goes to the newest received PM.
- The popup does not appears within the PMs module
- The popup still appearing until all new PMs have been read or the 'cancel' option is chosen.

Too cool! ...and I guess I needed that feature really, really badly.
I just noticed - today - that I got a couple of "Happy Birthdays"... on March 7...
