In particular I think that "On the Nature of Daylight" is a must have track. Hauntingly beautiful!

Some tracks I'd love to see on SST (especially the composition of John Adams.
But I'm afraid it has too many prerecorded material and popmusic to get passed Jeric .
But you never know _________________

errr.. of course that wasn't gf's poll but niw's...
here something to think about: why not add some of the tracks, which fufill the igid reglementations of JERIC's, so that we can have at least some of th music here on sst??? Voted "maybe" for the whole album, but I vote "yes" for adding some of the tracks. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

I'm voting yes because I really like this ST! I suppose not all of the tracks need to be added but some of them should be! _________________ Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow. - James Dean |

I voted maybe. I think that several tracks definitely would fit nicely to SST but maybe not the whole ST.
This film has one of the best uses of pre-existing music that I know. Especially Krzysztof Penderecki's Passacaglia - Allegro Moderato from Symphony No. 3 playing in the beginning of the film is just amazing! The sense of dread and madness this music brings is absolutely stunning. Martin Scorsese is a genius in how he uses music in his films. |

I heartily agree, GalFin. I had a similar impression of the music opening the film.
I would be in favor of adding some tracks. I guess the question is, "Which ones?"

10. Quartet For Strings And Piano In A Minor (Prazak Quartet)
This has to be in SST definitly!!
This song is what the whole film is about. It occures every once in a while in the film. It's even mentioned namely in the film!!
Please add it, if it's possible!! |
