I've been trying to listen to the stream on my new network but for some reason, its not working via WMP. it will work fine via iTunes but not WMP.
I'm using Win 7 with Verizon Fios. any ideas?

Which stream format did you select?
If you select the aac plus one you have to install the plugin see Playlist page or directly here _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

If other stream formats do not work, it is also worth checking for the proxy settings:
1. Right-click on the control bar (next to the play buttons etc.)
2. Make sure the "Show Classic Menus" option is on.
3. Click Tools -> Options...
4. Go to the Network tab.
5. Under Streaming Proxy Settings there should be a protocol named HTTP. Select it and click Configure...
6. Normally this should be on "Use proxy settings of the Web Browser". Try that first.
7. If that doesn't work, you could also try "Do not use a proxy server". _________________ Music is not just made of sounds. It is also made of silence. |

eh, i'm not too keen on the acc plus plugin. it sounds different too me (call me picky).
I've looked at the proxy settings on the player. I used it before when I had my old machine but with my new machine and new Fios it doesn't work. i didn't know if there were certain ports that needed to be open on the firewall that weren't by default on fios. i'll keep looking into it.
thanks guys! _________________ Grab a beer, don't cost nuttin... |

That is OK. I only was wondering if you select that stream so in that case you needed to download the plugin.
Did you try other players like winamp or vlc (I know you already played it on iTunes)? _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)
