(February 8, 2011- Los Angeles, CA) – Lakeshore Records will release the Drive Angry 3D -- Original Motion Picture Soundtrack available digitally on February 22nd and in stores on March 8, 2011. Michael Wandmacher (Piranha 3D, Punisher: War Zone).
Composer Michael Wandmacher has built a solid reputation for his highly textured, definitive and meticulously produced scores. Wandmacher’s feature films scoring credits include My Bloody Valentine 3-D, Punisher: War Zone, Freakonomics, Never Back Down, The Killing Floor, Cry Wolf, Train, Max Keeble’s Big Move and The Legend Of Drunken Master for director Jackie Chan, television series, TV movies, including Ben 10: Alien Swarm, and videogames including Singularity, Madagascar, Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa and Over The Hedge.
In the high-octane, 3D action-adventure Drive Angry, Nicholas Cage stars as Milton, a hardened felon who has broken out of hell intent on finding the vicious cult who brutally murdered his daughter and kidnapped her baby.
He joins forces with Piper (Amber Heard) a sexy, tough-as-nails waitress with a G9 Charger, who’s also seeking redemption of her own. Now, the two of them are hot on the trail of the deadly leader of the cult (Billy Burke), all while being pursued by an enigmatic killer (William Fichtner) who has been sent by the devil to retrieve Milton and deliver him back to hell.
Caught in a deadly race against time, Milton has 3 days to avoid capture, avenge his daughter’s death, and save her baby before she’s mercilessly sacrificed by the cult.
Millennium Films and Summit Entertainment present Drive Angry 3D in theaters February 25, 2011. Drive Angry 3D – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on Lakeshore Records will be released digitally on February 22nd and in stores on March 8, 2011.
