Visual or audial or whatever kind.
Streaming soundtracks make good drawing music for me. What would I do without it?

Yep, I'm ohh well I am an artiste. I create music by using computer. I do sound tracks, gingles, tv music and other... in fact, I'm starting at this thing... I studied in musical conception and in clasical music.

Ah, maybe we'll see your music requested here someday... Hehehe. I'm just a poor graphic design/multimedia student who likes to illustrate occasionally.

Yeah, I do the struggling artist thing a bit. Got a link to some of my soundtrack and rock stuff in my signature below...wink, wink!

Soundtracks are soooo great for getting the writing process going. I've gotten so many ideas from Raiders of the Lost Ark, mostly the action music.

I'm currently using the Predator 2 soundtrack to fire up the imagination.

I know this post is ancient history but I found it so maybe it will catch someone elses eye. Anyway for my first post it's not a bad place to try it out.

Well I am an illustrator who works in advertising doing mostly storyboards and animatics. I started looking at internet radio as a way of providing continuous background ( and company ) since my drawing table is so close to my cpu. I found SST through L365 and I have'nt gone back to my other presets since. I've become an instant fan of STs and the community that supports this site.

Movie scores are the perfect companion to creative thinking. Without distracting, they keep the juices flowing. I like it here. I think I'll stay!

Well, Tiggerer, it may be an old post but I also agree with you. I almost always listen to soundtracks or other 20th century orchestral works when I'm writing.

Hmmm, soundtracks yes - for me anyways. But 20th century orchestral works - yikes! Definitely not for me! I prefer the more classical pieces.

lol... yeah, I listen to classical too... most of the 20th century stuff I like is from the first few decades, much of which is often lumped in with classical.

Wow, I didn't realize my post would bring this thread to the forefront again. I thought folks would have to dig as much as I did to find it.

Anyway thanks for making me feel welcome. I look forward to being a good neighbor. ( I already pounced on someone spewing Kazaaspeak in the chat! ) Tiggers are good a pouncing!

Tiggerer2's avatar deserves its own thread.
