Well, here's what I do: Ghost images!

Take a random photograph - like this one:




Now use Photoshop to edit out the "ghost" and create a new background:




Make a new layer with the "ghost" and toy around with the opacity value until it looks right. Voilà!




You should try it, it's fun!

Or be lazy and just look at what other people have done in Photoshop (or the GIMP) at Worth1000.com.

Yes, I used mostly the clone stamp, some copy & paste and the simple brush tool.

Ah okay! thanks. I did something similar trying to edit out some people in a photo, but I only used the clone stamp tool. It didn't come out as cleanly as yours did. Good work. Very Happy
